Strongly Recommended: Accounting Workshop

Good news, everyone! MACC will be organizing "Accounting Workshop" so that the first year first semester students can get some basic accounting knowledge including posting transaction from journals to ledgers; preparing profit & loss statement and balance sheet. Not everyone goes through basic foundation in accounting; therefore, they will encounter difficulties in Accounting A unit as the unit is fast-paced and they do not wait for you to know how to do debits and credits. Here, your seniors will teach you to do accounting step-by-step; this will help you to build a strong foundation if you are major in accounting. Plus, it is FREE!!! No fees will be charged.
The detail is as follows:-

Time: 9am-1pm
Venue: Exam hall, Building 2 Level 6

We will also require senior students to volunteer themselves to teach the junior. In order to qualify, the seniors have to complete Accounting A, Accounting B and obtained at least a credit in both of the papers. If you are interested to be a senior, please send an email including your name, student ID, phone number and your academic results to monashaccounting@yahoo.com strictly before 25 March 2009, Wednesday at 5 pm. Trainning will be provided; Certificate will also be awarded to the seniors who help out.

It is open for all year 1 students who are doing basic principles of accounting and finance. If you are interested, please send an email including your name, student ID and phone number to
